Filter Legal Entities by sector and funding

August 26, 2026

Screen entities directly - no tracing back to the parent

☑️ Shortlist entities in the sector you are working – Say a mandate comes in for a niche space - you can pull up legal entities in Organ on a Chip or AI-native entities in Computer Vision with annual revenue above 100M in one search. When the deal involves a specific LLP, subsidiary, or carve-out, you screen the entity itself instead of working backwards from the parent company. You can go as specific as tech entities in India practising in Artificial Intelligence, incorporated after August 2021.

☑️ Check funding before the first call – Screen by what an entity has raised - active Indian FinTech entities with funding for a competitive scan, or flip it and find the untapped side: unfunded entities in Enterprise Applications, or unfunded, unlisted Public Limited entities in B2C Ecommerce - the kind of list a coverage or origination desk builds before reaching out. Funding checks during deal prep take one step, not a dig through the company hierarchy.

Additionally, the Key Metrics widget on the Legal Entity profile page now shows Total Equity Funding.

Where to find it

  1. Open the Legal Entity database page.
  2. Use the Sector and Total Funding quick filters at the top to narrow your list.
