About the Role
We are looking for a high-calibre Engineering Manager familiar with AI-assisted engineering and automation tools (Claude, Copilot and similar) to design and develop production-ready systems with high velocity and scale internal technology platforms across HR, Finance, Operations, and other business functions.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving business problems through technology. You will work directly with business stakeholders to understand processes, identify inefficiencies, design software solutions, build applications, automate workflows, and drive adoption across the organisation.
The ideal candidate is a strong engineer who has built internal applications, workflow systems, enterprise applications, automation platforms, or business process solutions and enjoys owning projects end-to-end.
What You Will Do
Build Internal Business Applications
- Design and develop internal applications for HR, Finance, Operations, and other business teams.
- Build internal platforms and workflow systems that streamline business operations across functions.
- Create configurable approval workflows, task management systems, and process automation solutions to improve efficiency, governance, and scalability.
- Develop dashboards, reporting systems, and operational tools.
Automate Business Processes
- Identify manual processes and automate them through software.
- Build workflow engines, integrations, and automation solutions.
- Leverage AI and modern automation technologies to improve productivity.
Own End-to-End Delivery
- Design system architecture and technical solutions.
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Internal applications.
- Continuously improve systems based on feedback and business needs.
Integrate Systems
- Build integrations between HRMS, Finance, CRM, and other internal systems.
- Ensure data flows seamlessly across platforms.
- Improve reporting, visibility, and operational efficiency.

What We Are Looking For
Must Have
- 4–8 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong coding skills and software design fundamentals.
- Experience building web applications, enterprise applications, workflow systems, automation platforms, or internal tools.
- Ability to understand business processes and translate them into software solutions.
- Strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred
- Graduated from IIT, NIT, IIIT, BITS, or other top-tier engineering institutions.
- Experience in workflow automation, enterprise application development, digital transformation, or business process automation.
- Experience building HR, Finance, Operations, CRM, ERP extensions, employee portals, onboarding systems, or approval workflows.
- Experience working with AI-enabled automation tools and modern development frameworks.
- Prior experience leading small engineering teams or mentoring engineers.
Not a Fit If
- Your experience is primarily in IT infrastructure, networking, desktop support, or system administration.
- Your experience is limited to ERP/HRMS implementation consulting without significant software development.
- You have primarily worked as a project manager without hands-on engineering ownership.
