Senior Research Associate (5–8 Years)

  1. This is a research-intensive leadership role suitable for candidates with an analytical or research-oriented background and a strong inclination towards conducting deep-dive research and developing structured data definitions for business use cases.
  2. The role requires understanding complex, evolving sectors and translating them into precise definitions, while mentoring junior analysts and driving sector-level frameworks.

We are looking for intellectually curious and detail-oriented individuals from top institutions to join our team. As a Research Associate, you will drive in-depth research on global technology sectors, track emerging companies, and design frameworks that scale intelligence across the platform. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about becoming thought leaders in their sector and shaping research at both the company and industry level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult directly with clients to decode complex briefs, align on output parameters, and deliver high-conviction intelligence that meets precise expectations under rapid turnarounds.
  • Conduct deep-dive research and build a strong knowledge base on multiple sectors (e.g., SaaS, FinTech, HealthTech, Enterprise Applications, ClimateTech).
  • Expertly navigate urgent requests and escalations by identifying root causes and solving issues in real-time, and restoring client confidence.
  • Define structured frameworks and data definitions for complex business scenarios.
  • Identify, evaluate, and classify high-potential startups and emerging trends globally.
  • Produce high-quality sector landscapes, research notes, and strategic insights.
  • Mentor and review the work of junior analysts to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Contribute to scoring models and tagging frameworks, enabling scalable sector intelligence
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5–8 years of experience in research, consulting, VC/PE, strategy, or analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to look beyond raw data points to identify 'non-obvious' trends
  • Deep functional or sector expertise and interest in startups and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in secondary research and report generation preferred.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to define frameworks, mentor teams, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
